Educational Advising Coordinator

Under the direction of the Nevada State High School administration, the Educational Advising Coordinator is responsible for instructional leadership, coordination of college preparation seminars, planning and implementation of college readiness and career development skills, and monitoring, guiding and counseling students toward their college goals.

This is a full time salary position with health benefits and retirement benefits from the Public Employee Retirement System. New or experienced individuals with any combination of education, training and/or experience equivalent to: a Bachelor’s degree in advising/counseling/education or 3-5 years relevant academic experience in the public or private sector (by: 6/30/2012). These individuals are encouraged to apply for this 12-month position which has an annual salary that can range between ($40K - $85K) depending on qualifications and experience.
