Placement Testing

Placement Testing Information:

Once a student has submitted the required paperwork, they will take a Math and English placement exam to determine what college courses they will take for the following semester. All students must test at Nevada State High School for Great Basin College scores as well as at College of Southern Nevada to determine the location and level of courses that will be available to a student. Upon completion of the placement test a student will attend a one-on-one scheduling session (Click here for scheduling Information) with a member of the NSHS staff.
