OUR OBJECTIVES

Personal Transition

Measurable Objectives:

 

80% of NSHS students will complete a college progress profile detailing:

  • Academic plan   
  • College major
  • College choice (in-state or out-of-state) 
  • SAT/ACT college board account 
  • College academic study plan projecting college classes
  • Completion of a college application template

 

Academic Transition

 

Measurable Objectives:

  • 90% of NSHS students will graduate high school.
  • 80% of NSHS students will earn a per student average of 12 credits per college semester.
  • 90% of NSHS students will pass the Nevada State High School Proficiency Exams.
  • 80% of NSHS students who have successfully completed at least one year at NSHS will have fulfilled any need to take remedial college classes upon
  • graduation from high school. 
  • 90% of NSHS students will enroll in a post-secondary program after high school.

 

Social Transition

Measurable Objectives:

 

80% of NSHS first year students will participate in volunteer/community/school service/activities each semester including:

  •  Time spent on college campuses outside of class time in organized events
  •  College/high school clubs, activities, recreational sports, and/or seminars
  •  Volunteer Service
